Hy2gen
Hy2gen develops, finances, builds, and operates plants to produce green hydrogen and its derivative. Currently, the company has offices in France, Germany, Norway, Canada, and the US.
In 2022 Hy2gen secured a record €200 million investment, making it the largest private investment in green hydrogen. The company's investors included both strategic partners and financial investors, setting the company up for further growth and the capability to develop large projects. Hy2gen has a team with deep technical knowledge and has strategic access to a global network of leading commodity traders and industries for offtake.
Norway is a key country for Hy2gen, with significant potential to decarbonize maritime and industrial sectors as well as to export to the European market. The company is currently developing a large-scale green ammonia project in Sauda, in collaboration with CIP and Trafigura as its partners.
