Azane Fuel Solutions is developing the world's first ammonia bunkering network as part of its dedication to de-carbonize shipping. Founded by two industry leaders with decades of experience in shipping, gas handling and gas transfer, the company has developed a unique technology, that can offer fast, safe, and flexible bunkering of ammonia.
Azane delivers tailored bunker terminals and can assist its customers with both development and operations of the terminals. From early phase location studies to identify the best bunkering solution, through permit processes, to delivery and operations, Azane has the expertise to maximize safety and minimize cost of bunkering.
Through the collaboration with Yara Clean Ammonia, Azane will start building the world's first ammonia bunkering network in 2024, expected to be ready for first fuelling operations in 2025. The first terminals will be stationary floating terminals, but Azane is already developing solutions for onshore terminals and larger self-propelled bunker vessels.
The company was founded in 2021 and has now offices in both Oslo and Sandefjord.
