In September Ocean Hyway Cluster and 13 other clusters applied for Arena Pro status through Norwegian Innovation Cluster. Yesterday, Ocean Hyway Cluster announced that it is one of four clusters to receive Arena Pro status.

Clean energy solutions provider Unitrove today unveiled the world’s first liquid hydrogen bunkering facility for fuelling zero-emission ships at the COP26 climate change conference in Glasgow.

During the past months Ocean Hyway Cluster have been part of a planning committee for the event “ShipZero” coinciding COP26 in Glasgow November 1-3rd.

As a result of higher activity, Norwegian Hydrogen has strengthened its team and moved into new facilities.

TECO 2030 has been granted NOK 50 million in Norwegian government support for its development of hydrogen fuel cells, which will lead to the creation of up to 500 new jobs in northern Norway by 2030 and contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

North Ammonia, a producer of green ammonia, has joined the cluster.

Hexagon Purus joins the work package Zero Emission Compressed Hydrogen (ZECH) which is part of the ZeroCoaster project study coordinated by Vard, a major global ship design and shipbuilding company. TECO 2030 has reached another milestone in its development of zero-emission solutions for the maritime industry. The cleantech company has now received an “Approval in Principle” (AiP) by DNV for its Hydrogen Fuel Cell System and three versions of its Fuel Cell Module FCM400.

ZEG Power, provider of technology and systems for production of clean hydrogen, is going the build the world’s first blue hydrogen facility in Norway. The production facility is on Kollsnes in Øygarden, west of Bergen, and scheduled to start production Q4 2022/Q1 2023.
