Martin Hennum joins the team!

 

Hennum will play a critical role in developing export opportunities for the Norwegian hydrogen industry.

Ocean Hyway Cluster is excited to announce our new Export Manager: Martin Hennum! Hennum brings an extensive international experience from the Norwegian and French business support systems to the team. The position as Export Manager is shared between Ocean Hyway Cluster and H2Cluster, presenting a unique opportunity for the emerging hydrogen industry in Norway. 


Increasing Norway’s export share 

 

CEO of the Ocean Hyway Cluster, Kristin Svardal, is thrilled to have Martin Hennum as a part in her team.

The 108 member companies in Ocean Hyway Cluster and H2Cluster contributes to a greener future by developing hydrogen-based solutions. As Export Manager, Hennum will work closely with these members to increase their export share.

Martin Hennum’s large network from working at Innovation Norway and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs comes in handy when working with export. Hennum himself is excited about joining the team:

“Together with the industry, we take part in creating business solutions that will contribute to developing green business ideas but most importantly more sustainable solutions within a global industry. I am happy that I can join the cluster on this journey!”

 

Partnering up with H2Cluster

The hydrogen networks Ocean Hyway Cluster and H2Cluster have had close cooperation through 2022. Together with partners, they won a High Potential Opportunities (HPO) tender from Innovation Norway to position the industry in Norway towards export to Germany. Now the clusters are taking their collaboration a step further by signing a partnership agreement and engaging Martin Hennum as a shared Export Manager. 

The two clusters’ will in 2023 work closely in particular 3 areas:

  1. Export 

  2. Project development and financing

  3. Upscaling the market

The OHC administration looks forward to even closer cooperation with the H2Cluster in the time to come. Welcome on board, Martin!
