Great membership growth in Ocean Hyway Cluster

Ocean Hyway Cluster are approaching 50 member companies in the cluster!

The membership of Ocean Hyway Cluster (OHC) has steadily increased, and we are now approaching 50 member companies. Including the members of our parent company Hub for Ocean, we have 110 members.

OHC have organisations in the cluster that span the entire hydrogen value chain, and many of these are now working in consortiums on innovative projects where the overall goal is to establish hydrogen and ammonia as zero-emission solutions in the maritime sector.

We are proud to welcome the following new players as members of the cluster:

  • HyEX Safety: The business idea of HYEX is to provide expert advice within hydrogen and gas safety. They help projects develop safe and cost-efficient solutions using quick engineering models in combination with computational fluid dynamics (CFD). This includes documenting risk for permitting processes with authorities, regulators and classification societies. Read more

  • Powidian: PowiDian has launched SAGES (Smart Autonomous Green Energy System), a non-polluting energy station that is modular, scalable and shaped to your needs. Depending on location, consumption profile, constraints from weight, volume and environment; their advanced system will configure the best solution and equipment for you. Read more

  • MHTech: MHTech is an innovative technology company that delivers simulation and analysis and services to reduce emissions and increase sustainability and energy efficiency in transport and energy systems. Read more

  • GTA H2 Inc: There is an emerging consensus in the offshore wind industry that renewable hydrogen will be essential for continued economic success and growth because of the need for large-scale grid-balancing and expansion into new and profitable markets. GTA has pioneered the development and prototype testing of subsea electrolyzers for large scale renewable hydrogen production. Read more

  • Sparebanken Vest: With continuous banking operations since 1823, Sparebanken Vest is well established in Western Norway. Sparebanken Vest is an independent, listed financial services group engaged in banking and financing activities in the counties of Vestland and Rogaland. Throughout their history, they have endeavoured to ensure that the local community has the best conditions for growth and that it develops in a sustainable way. They strive to continue to do so, which means taking responsibility for both the local and global environment. Read more

  • Liquiline: Liquiline is a Norwegian based gas technology company and independent provider of services and innovative solutions for transporting and storing liquefied gases. Through their engineering capabilities and plug-and-play solutions they help their customers get in place the necessary vaporisation and pumping terminal at site. Liquiline entered in November 2019 into a partnership with the Danish company Green Hydrogen Systems, the industry leader in standardized, modular, next-generation alkaline electrolyzers. Together they want to be a leading player within locally produced green hydrogen. Read more
