Other comments: Big project that is starting Autumn 2019 to develop a hydrofoil battery boat together with the Brothers Aa, but in the first instance there is talk of technological development. We hope to find a suitable customer by 2021 who may be interested in the boat. We have also been working extensively on all the speedboat routes in Trøndelag lately, but here we also suggest battery operation on all routes, including the very long route from Trondheim to Kristiansund. This has only to do with price, as the hydrogen alternative is currently much more expensive than battery. If the price changes then of course our recommendation will change too. The range of a battery boat is very limited with traditional fast boats, but with our hydrofoil technology we believe we can increase it by 60-150% depending on the type of boat, which means that most routes can operate with batteries. The choice between hydrogen or battery is thus primarily a cost issue, as both forms of energy storage are technically possible.
