Build your confidence, in artificial intelligence
Ocean Hyway Cluster offers AI courses ranging from introductory sessions for non-technical staff to advanced training in maritime, generative, and synthetic intelligence. They are designed to support safe, smart, and sustainable innovation at sea.
As part of a broader initiative to strengthen maritime AI competence, these courses give members and non-members the chance to position themselves nationally and internationally.
The maritime industry is taking significant steps in digitalization, but many employees and companies still experience considerable uncertainty about how artificial intelligence can be used safely and practically in everyday operations.
Ocean Hyway Cluster therefore wishes to offer a new type of competence program – not aimed at experts, but at businesses that want to increase their basic understanding and use AI as an operational tool for value creation and collaboration.
The courses are based on a modular model with four distinct levels, ranging from basic confidence to more advanced discussions on synthetic intelligence. The goal is to foster understanding, safety, and collaboration across professional environments, and to enable broader participation in the future digital maritime value chain.
The courses are tailored for middle managers, HR professionals, advisors, developers, technologists, and support staff across maritime businesses - from ship design to port operations (e.g., Kongsberg Maritime, Norled, the Norwegian Maritime Authority, ABB, CCB, Grieg). They are also relevant for the public sector and partners in the green transition.
